St. Kitts/ Nevis Plantation Inn - on a budget

We will be in St. Kitts & Nevis for a week, and would like to split the 7 nights between two different hotels, likely 1 on St. Kitts and 1 on Nevis. Given our budget (150-200/nt max), we are currently thinking about 4 nights at Timothy Beach Resort on St. Kitts, followed by 3 nights on Nevis. We'd like to also stay in different styles of accomodations - including a Plantation inn. Any recommendations for our budget for a plantation inn on Nevis, or St. Kitts?

Currently in strong consideration is the Golden Rock on Nevis, but they may not have availability on our dates...so any other recommendations are most appreciated!

addendum: alternately, we are considering 3-4 nights at oualie beach hotel then 3-4 nights back on st. kitts - so recommendations for plantation inn on st. kitts also quite welcome! Thanks in advance for your advice!

Check out the Hermitage or Old Manor on Nevis and Rawlins Plantation on St. Kitts to see if they are in your price range and can accomodate you on the dates you are planning to visit. Go to www.nevis1.com and check on the lodging links - you'll find very accurate and unbiased description of both of the Nevis inns mentioned above (plus info on other places to stay on the island).

Rates become lower after April 15th, and the rates at some plantation inns include breakfast and dinner (including Rawlins), and some don't.

For St. Kitts, check out the websites of the Golden Lemon, Ottley's, and Rawlins Plantation, to see which inn might suit you best.

You really can't go wrong at any of them.

Enjoy.

Update - the Golden Rock was available on our dates, so we are confirmed with reservations there for three nights. Thanks for your help!
