St. Kitts & Nevis or Somewhere Else

Jump to last reply

Need some advice about St. Kitts/Nevis. Which island would be best to stay on? Would you stay on St. Kitts since it has more to do and take a day trip to Nevis or would the reverse be better? After reading my post, please advise if you would consider a different Caribbean island.
We're looking for a great sandy beach, water that deepens gradually with no rocks upon walking into the water, nice hotel property, and other things to see and do. We're looking for a friendly, safe atmosphere without nudity.
We love clear, beautiful turquoise water like Grand Cayman or Turks and Caicos with snorkeling opportunities. Understand St. Kitts/Nevis are not those kind of islands. Beaches have darker sand and are not coral reef islands.
We've visited the Bahamas, American and British Virgin Islands, Aruba, Barbados, Antigua, Grand Cayman, Turks and Caicos and St. Lucia. Have also been to Bermuda, Cancun, Ixtapa and Hawaii.
We wanted to try something different, but don't want to be disappointed. Overall, our favorites have been Grand Cayman, Barbados, Turks and Caicos and Aruba for the water and snorkeling. Hawaii is best for sightseeing. Enjoyed Barbados very much which has nice beaches and a good assortment of things to see and do.
Any suggestions?
