St. Johns Villa Help!

We are two families (4 adults, 4 children ages 4,5,7,8) interested in sharing a villa in St. John in November. Can anyone suggest a villa, rental company or even an area which may be best suited for us to stay? Should we limit our search to the Cruz Bay area? Any and all info. would be helpful!
Thanks to all!

There are an abundance of villas on St. John. Which area is a source of debate among St. John travelers. I prefer the Coral Bay area but Cruz Bay is probably more popular.

Some villas are located on unpaved roads and the drive to them can be an adventure in itself. To get you started here are a few rental agencies:

When researching villas be sure to make a note as to the location of the bedrooms. Many homes on St John (not John's, you may end up in Anguilla!) have bedrooms in different buildings, some on lower levels with outside access. We stayed at La Collina which could possibly suit you. We were a larger group but this villa has 2 equal master bedrooms on the main level and each room has a pull out double bed in it making it very convenient for the children. We rented it through www.caribbeanvilla.com. There was more than enough room for all 11 of us. They were ages 2 - 7. I would recommend staying "around" the Cruz Bay area. Reef Bay area wouldn't be that far but I think that the Coral Bay area may be too far with young children. This is just my opinion.

And as long as we are correcting the St. Johns issue. You may end up in Antiqua, not Anguilla!
