St. John Villa near Cruz Bay
 

Can anyone recommend a villa near Cruz Bay that has a pool and/or hot tub? We would like to be close to both restaurants and the beach but don't mind driving a few minutes. We don't care about the number of bedrooms but would like something less than $2500 a week. We will be honeymooning here in May 2007.

Gallows Point pool and hot tub are PUBLIC, i.e. can be used by everyone who stays in those units. I assume you meant private pool and hot tub, e.g. the kind one can use in real privacy, sans swimsuits, etc. Also, Gallows has no real "beach." Other than that, it's a nice place. (tho not at all like a villa) We haven't stayed in villa on St John (only on Virgin Gorda), so sorry I can't help with that. Happy honeymooning!

We met the owner of "Tamarind" villa which is a short walk to Cruz Bay.We have not stayed in it but it looks nice for our next trip.It has a pool not sure about hot tub.
