St. John Villa

We need some help!! We have 3 couples (early 30's) who will be traveling to St. John this Feb. and are in need of a villa. I have stayed on St. John a few times, but not with a group. Can anyone recommend a luxury villa that can accomidate 6 ppl? Ideally not too far from Cruz Bay? I've been on the websites for Villa rentals, and without actually seeing them it is so difficult to choose! Thanks in advance for your help!!

I think Geoff/Nancy/Pat/Susan has some ideas.
Depending on which of her multiple personalities shows up today, maybe she'll offer an opinion.

Stayed at Orchid Villa in Feb 2001. We had three couples and had a great time. Rented through Caribbean Villas. Location was Klien Bay about 5-7 min. from Cruz Bay.

Lisa -

Stayed at Jazz Villa last November. There were four couples total and all bedrooms were relatively equal with the exception of the Master Bedroom, which was a bit nicer. Great pool, lovely views and the villa's amenities were fantastic, i.e., decorated nicely, kitchen was well appointed.

Also, try Anole villa. It's relatively new and all four bedrooms are exactly identical in size and amenities, however, Anole is on the North Shore.

We're renting Vistaero this year, and it looks like a great villa as well - wonderful pool, and outstanding views, we're told.

Check out Destination St. John's website to check out Jazz and Vistaero, if they are of interest to you.

Good luck!

I would call the villa rental company (such as Destination St. John or Catered To) and ask for information for a villa that meets your needs--do you want to be near Cruz Bay for activities at night etc. Also, online there are photos of all the villas and specs--see "Catered To" and if you see a villa that you like just type out the villa name, St. John and get more information. Good luck.

Lisa,
We rented "Belle View" from CateredTo a few years ago and loved it. 4 rooms I think though...near town, pool, views, open air, nice kitchen, bedrooms, baths....ahhhhh. Want to go back!!

The perfect vacation
is an ultra-luxury villa
right on the beach in
St. John. There is just
nothing like taking a
few steps from your door
to the perfect sands of
the best beaches in the
world.

Hello sandbetweenmytoes!
We've missed you!
Say hello to Geoff and Pat and Nancy and the others, OK?

Sorry to burst your bubble but sandbetweentoes wasn't me. Someone playing a joke.

I am renting Dream Catcher which has 3 equal sized bedrooms, pool & hot-tub. It is in Great Cruz Bay harbor which I like for the convenience ( but not the beach!) the roads are paved you are 5 mins from Starfish Market and 10 minutes from N Shore Beaches.

I have looked at Splash too and it looks spectacular....I just have had very good experiences with www.caribbeanvilla.com and don't see why I should take a chance on the others. Not saying there bad, but if it ain't broke...

L
