St John Tourism

I'm stayin at Frenchmen's Reef on St. Thomas and am interested in taking the car ferry and going around St. John. This would be a day trip and I'm interested in finding out what sites you would recommend I see? Please advise.

There was just a very lenghty thread on things to do on STJ.

Just depends on what you want to do. Beaches, hiking, visiting ruins or just a scenic jeep tour with some stops. Let me know and I can advise further. With one day, I would probably bring a small cooler, pick up some sandwiches from Sam and Jack's Deli, and hit a couple of the North Shore Beaches. You could then do a little browsing in the quaint shops of Cruz Bay, have dinner and head back before the last car barge leaves.

I jut looked at the schedule for the car barge. I did not know they stopped running so early. Never did the car barge myself. It would have to be an early dinner if you did that.

I love St. John, probably my favorite place in the Caribbean. I recently found this blog that had a ton of great info on St. John, especially if you are interested in snorkeling.

Enjoy Paradise!
