St. John rental car choice?
I'm planning a vacation to St. John, and I'm getting conflicting advice about rental cars. Most of the advice says that I should definitely get a four wheel drive vehicle, because I will be birding in the national park. However, they are very expensive, and you can't lock a Jeep Wrangler. Does anyone have any advice to offer? Thanks!

You should def. get a four wheel drive vehical. I traveled to St. John a couple of years ago. I was astonished at how steep and winding some of the more rural roads are. We had a "jeep", but it was a four hard top. Cherokee or something. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra bucks. Have fun!
