St. John in September?

What is the weather like in September in St. JOhn? I know it's hurricane season, but when it's not, what is the weather like? Thinking about going in early September. THanks!

It is hurricane season. The weather pretty much stays the same. Warm and nice

Go to www.weatherbase.com for detailed charts showing temperatures, percipitation, rain days, etc. for every Caribbean island including St. John.

Like flsun says, on average, weather conditions don't vary too much throughout the year.

September & October are the hottest months down here since the breeze dies down.

Ziolet,
My husband and I went in June and Sept. of 05.

In my opinion...Sept. was much better. It was not as hot as June. Also it was alot less crowded.Trunk Bay (which is usually crowded) had very few people on it.We also had sunny weather except one night it rained all night.

I would much rather go in Sept. than any other time.Just buy trip insurance..just to be safe.

Just a reminder. Many or most of the restraunts close sometime in September until late October. As long as there is no hurricane the weather is fine.
