Less than one-hundred dollars a night is difficult to do on St. John even in the off season. If you decide to increase your budget slightly here are a few suggestions:

That is a tough one! Have you looked into the St. John Inn. (www.stjohninn.com) The rooms seem nice for the price and since you're in the off season, there are a few that are under $100. I think the location is pretty good for town...you'll need to rent a car or jump on a taxi (my husband and I love the taxi services- it's actually pretty fun) to get to the beaches. Good Luck!

Samuel's Cottages is a short stroll from Cruz Bay (stumbling distance from Woody's). About $80/night for a West Indian style cottage. They have 3 cottages, all with A/C in the Master BR. They each have a pull out couch, as well. Cottages include a full kitchen and bathroom with a shared BBQ. A great way to experience STJ on a tight budget.

Try Maho (www.maho.org) its high end camping & tent cottages. I think tent cottages are about $75/night. Beautiful setting.

Also you can try Cinnamon Bay Campground.

Trust me when I say this isn't your typical camping experience
