St. Jean or Colombier?

We are looking for privacy and romance, but we also enjoy walking to the cafe, bar, beach, etc. Which area is nicer for a short villa stay--St. Jean or Colombier, and why? Thanks in advance.

Colombier, and the beach down below at Flamands are high on romantic, white sand, no rocks, excellent snorkeling off Colombier bay and there are two very nice places to dine, a bakery/general store--very walkable.
Depending on where you stay, however, on the Colomber hillside you can be a more little isolated.
St Jean beach is used more by families, and noisy since the airport is there and the road runs between the beach and hotels. Not as romantic, but that can be pretty subjective. Nikki beach is on St. Jean beach, one of the newer hip places.
Remember, St. Barts is intimate, beautiful and the entire Island is a resort--any part being a short drive away from any other.
No other Island comes close.

Thanks! I think I'm going to go with St. Jean. It's got to be more romantic than Cleveland, right?

No other island comes close!!!!I think Anguilla can rival St. Barts. However, St. Barths Haute coutour shopping is what makes it different.

Anguilla is just as flat as Cleveland. Not very pretty away from the nice beaches. Caribbean, vestiges of uptight rule under the Brits.
St. Barts: gorgeous views abound. Fine French cusine. Classic European top-free
c/o beaches. Paradise.
