Yes, there is a ferry that is now and will be running for the next 6 months between STT and STX. I believe the fare is around $75 r/t for non-residents. There are also plans to expand that ferry service to include more runs between STT and PR and other islands. There is also Seaborne Air and other small puddle jumper flights between STT and STX. Ferrys are also avaiable and run between STT and St. John and many of the BVI's.

I think the seaplane was about $100 r/t per person but that was 4 yrs ago.The seaplane desk/hut is right on the harbour boardwalk you can't miss it.
I also had a villa on the east end and you must have a car.I rarely if ever saw any kind of public transportation but there are cabs galore but I think it is worth the money for the rental car so you can explore the entire island..Have a great trip..Unlike a lot of people on this board I really liked St. Croix..
Don't miss a day trip to Buck Island..so beautiful..

The Salacia(virginislandsfastferry.com) has retrned and is travelling the route between STX And STT daily. This has caused the Seaborne Shuttle once again, to lower their rates to $82.50RT for midday travel. It's wonderfull what competition does for pricing!
