Anyone stayed here and where's the fun on St. Croix?

I used to live in St. Croix. I have stayed at the St. Croix by the Sea and at the King Christian Hotel. A guest of mine stayed at the Holegar Danks(probably not spelled right). Since I am such a beach person I would probably not stay in town again. I have looked into the Sugar Beach Condo's and several other condo's and the ones I have investigated look very nice and very well out fitted. This is a very easy island to get around on. The web site for the U.S. Virgin Islands will give you some basic information. If you want to rent a house try WIMCO. If you like to snorkle you will have several trips to choose from. Do not miss going to Buck Island. If you like to ride horseback you can take a trip through the rain forest, and also see where Christopher Columbus first landed.
