there are mosquitos on all caribbean islands...Zika is more of a problem on some...not sure where this year but you can google that issue but mosquitos are everywhere and depend on amount of rain/wind etc. as to how much of a problem it is for visitors...also most hotels have massive spray plans (not sure I like being around that) and have it under control.

If it rains, mosquitoes come out.
It's the tropics, stays warm all year
Zika should only really affect you if pregnant, trying to be, or recent birth. If this is not a concern, use plenty of DEET, especially after a rain shower.
Zika except for birth problems is not an overwhelming thing to get (not that anyone wants it) and there's always a chance of something when traveling anyway.
You're best bet is to personally discuss with your doctor your concerns

First buy, when we come to SBH, is Off repellent. At least in the place we stay, yes there are mosquitos. I could not say if it is specific to our place, to the Island. But yes, there are but we just get used to, with the essential help of Off
