Special property for extended family trip?

I am treating my extended family to a Caribbean trip and looking for the perfect property. There will be 5 adults + a toddler and possibly our nanny. We have traveled frequently to the Caribbean with our favorite islands being Anguilla, the BVI's and the Bahamas out islands (been to Harbour Island and Staniel Cay). The last 'family trip' like this was to Staniel Cay, pre-kid. We prefer boutique properties, love amazing beaches/water and options to get on a boat. I am fine with rooms or a cottage/house as long as there are amenities. We don't want to cook beyond breakfast. I would love to charter a boat but don't think we could relax with our 2 year old.
Looking for suggestions of distinctive properties. Thanks in advance!

Since you've done similar family trips and you talk about bringing along a nanny I'll assume budget is not a major issue. If so, look at Jumby Bay on Antigua, Caneel Bay on St. John, Four Seasons, Nevis and if you haven't been there yet, Little Dix Bay, Virgin Gorda.

Agree, with a 2YO, doing a boat based vacation is not a good option.

Check out Turks and Caicos. I love Anguilla and Staniel Cay too, love TCI.

Tci has gorgeous waters like the islands you love, but a little easier to get around and resorts a little more modern, so easier with a toddler. There are many nice condo resorts (grace Bay Club, Seven Stars, Palms) and even some ultra luxury villas that come fully staffed. For ex Footprints on the Beach.

Take the toddler for the day to Sapodilla Bay, it's a toddlers dream beach-- like a giant wading pool. Excursions can handle toddlers, usually most boats are catamarans so steady, usually the water is really calm.

What time of year are you thinking?

Restaurants have amazing settings, some have mellow live music that helps with toddlers. Very friendly family destination.

The beaches are spectacular, like you're used to

I want to be in your family!

I love TCI, too. And I think it's ideal for what you're planning because of all the reasons mentioned above.

Take a peek at THE VENETIAN and THE WEST BAY CLUB, too. Both are on opposite ends of Grace Bay, but with very uncrowded beach fronts, and gorgeous top of the line units with every amenity.

THE VENETIAN has no on site restaurant, West Bay Club does. But you will probably want a car anyway to access other beaches and restaurants.

The only downside to TCI is that there's not much to do-- very little sightseeing or shopping. If you need an island
with more going on, look at Grand Cayman, and check out THE AVALON or VILLAS OF THE GALLEON, both of which are on the best
part of Seven Mile Beach, close to shopping and restaurants.

Good luck!

Thanks for the responses. We actually got married in the Turks! Definitely a gorgeous island. One of our other favorites was Little Dix (went as a couple) and I think that could work well with the family too. Will have to check out Jumby Bay. And the FS on Nevis - I've heard the property is great but don't know much about the island. A couple good suggestions so thank you!
