Somerset Entertainment and Suites
Returned from the island a few weeks ago and wanted to post some thoughts.
The suites at The Somerset were amazing. Our suite was amazing in the finishes and the furnishings. Viking kitchen, sumptous beds and all of the comforts of a fine home.
The bathrooms were all top notch with comforts of home.
The resort is thoughtfully designed with the position of the lap pool and infinity pool as the center of the grounds. The spectacular Estate Homes provide great views of the ocean as well as the Sterling Building. Loved the gardens around the Cottages which looked very comfortable.
Loved the dining at LunaSea and the upscale evenings at O'Soleil.
Service was very good and everyone really went out of their way to make our stay special.
Will return again someday very soon.

We love the Somerset too, stayed in the Sterling in January and will stay in English Cottages next time..for the price difference and the fact that we are not in the unit much during the day , it's a no brainer.
Really great dining as you said and beautiful suites. We viewed a couple of Cottages and would request a 2nd floor unit!

No secret here, Somerset one of my favs.
they've added a whole lot of fun stuff to make the stay even better:
Tuesday sunset clam bakes on the beach.
Wed. night movies outdoors on the lawn.
Friday nights happy hour with Daniel and Nadine singing-awesome atmosphere.
Now they even serve buckets of beer on the beach all day.
It's starting to remind me of the days when summer retreats at places like The Homestead (Dirty Dancing movie) when there were"activities" set up by the resorts.

We'll be heading to the T&C's soon and I'm looking for dining options. Does the LunaSea serve dinner? O'Soleil sounds lovely but we are looking for a more casual atmosphere. Thanks in advance.
