Some Cuba Pictures
Last April we traveled to some 'different' places in Cuba. I thought you might like the pics. Reviews are posted on Debbie's.

In the Debbie's forums, but I can repost here if there is interest. A more traditional trip in 2000 to the Villa Covarrubias http://s67.photobucket.com/albums/h3...rubias%202000/ Ian |
hi ian, what wonderful photos. thanks for posting them. in your photo entitled - A Holguin bus & bus stop (I'm not kidding) - there is a bicycle on the side with some sort of barrel on the back. what is this?

Beautiful! Who knew Cuba had such beautiful beaches?!!?

I have no idea. I zoomed in on the original pic & there is a cup hanging from the handlebars, so I suspect it is water. The pic was taken just off of the main square in Holguin. Yes, the beach was extraordinary. Cayo Saetia was not your typical resort. The pennisula used to be a big game hunting reserve for the Cuban elite. Ian |
Ah, I'm kicking myself for not having made it out there now:)

To continue with Cuban Photos, here is a slideshow I put together on the Spanish Colonial Town of Trinidad on Cuba's south coast.

Thank you so much for the beautiful pictures of Trinidad. I am travelling there in February and cannot wait to experience it live.
