Solo travel in high season

Every review Ive read about the Carribbean uses the pronoun "we" . Has anyone out there traveled around alone to these islands? How was it to go it alone when everyone is part of a couple?
Would like to go in January.

I have a friend who just returned from Aruba on a solo trip. She is female early 50's. She stayed at the Radison. I would go to Aruba alone in a heartbeat and feel comfortable there. I would just follow the same rules I do at home and use common sense. I have always felt safe in Aruba.

I've been alone to many islands, loved every minute of it

There are several threads here regarding traveling alone. Just put "solo" in the search box.

I didn't "travel around" but I went solo to Negril a couple years ago. Great place, if you're interested in Jamaica.
