Solar Power
Some good news for independent Cuba travellers suffering from constant power outages. https://www.reuters.com/business/ene...is-2025-02-21/ . A small step, but definitely a foot in the right direction.

It certainly does not seem to be a quick fix, but in the long run, I'm sure that solar parks are the way to go.

I just hope that the other 91 solar parks are somewhat on schedule. Cuba needs more independent travellers.

Less dependent on expensive fossil fuels. Definitely a step in the right direction. Hopefully they can install enough of them to make a significant difference. Off-resort travel is just as important for Cuba.

If Cuba could become much more dependent on solar power that would help a lot especially for the locals. Some of those old cars are smoggy.
