So, What do you you when it rains?
We've been to the Carib many times and it has rained (sometimes alot). One time, we scurried off to the nearest beach bar, got Bloody Mary's and just enjoyed (ourselves, new people we had just met, et al.) I find it so amusing that people will go in the water when the sun is shining, but when it rains they take cover.

What do other people do when it rains?

I just spent an uncharacteristically wet week in the Abacos in June, and have lots of bad weather memories of the islands. Although options are limited when you're living aboard a chartered sailboat, as we were, we didn't suffer too badly! We always bring along books and games, so that kept us entertained. Then there is dining out and drinking -- so many interesting people to meet. I'll take advantage of the extra fresh water and bathe in the rain. And, as long as it's not storming with lightning, we'll go to the beach, figuring we're going to get soaked anyway. An added bonus with crummy weather: you don't have to be as vigilant with sunscreen, so your poor pores and clothes get a break.

I like to try to build card houses as high as I can, or practice memorizing the 50 states, or try to count up all the Star Trek episodes. Sometimes we just sing.
What a fun time we have when it rains.
We're all lucky to be alive and be able to go on vacations, aren't we?
