Snorkel: Caicos Dream vs Blue Water
Has anyone used Blue Water divers and how do they compare to Caicos Dream cruises? We are just interested in snorkeling, not diving. Thanks for the info!

Blue Water divers is in Grand Turk, Caicos Dream Tours is on Provo.
Which island are you staying on? (which resort?)

Hi blamona,
We're staying in Provo at the West Bay Club, but I thought you get get BlueWaters trips out of there too.

no, Blue Waters is in Grand Turk. Maybe you're thinking Big Blue?

Big Blue is more snorkeling, they also have kayaks, etc.

Caicos Dream is a catamaran going up the cays, and includes beachcombing on secluded beaches.

Both would make ideal trips.

blamona, you're right of's Big Blue. Have you personally been out with them? I know you enjoyed your day trip on Caicos Dream. From some reading, It seemed like Big Blue took less people out and perhaps it was a more pristine experience than Caicos Dream. Either way, we'd probably just do a half day trip...unless you tell me that the whole day trip was much more worth it! Thanks again for the info.

my wife & i are going to be at TCI on 3/18-3/21, we're choosing between dream tours & big blue.. any feedback from you guys would be very helpful.. :)

just returned from TCI last night and am about to post my trip report with details. I'd switch to big blue for snorkeling...we didn't get much time to snorkel on Caicos dream tours.

thanks for the suggestion.. i saw your report trip about dream tours.. i'm actually looking forward to a lot of snorkeling on saturday.. so i think big blue is a good choice.. i just hope the weather isn't as bad as what you've experienced.. at least a single sunny day would make us happy.. :)

If you can wait to book until you hear about the weather, that would be best. Although, I booked our trip looking at a forecast a few days ahead...and it turned out to be wrong as the bad weather came earlier, but then left earlier too. Hope you have a great snorkeling experience with calm, sunny weather! I think the rain is out of the system by now!
