Skyauction
Hello friends:
As per ejcrowe's suggestion we made a bid for LaLuna and got a rate of $199 a night with the tax and the tip. We thought its a pretty good deal!
Upon futher research I had noted complaints about the site's reliability in both Consumer Affairs.com and the Better Business Bureau. Some people complained that they got expired certificates or that there never was a reservation made upon checking in with the airline or property.
Since I trust ejcrowe's reviews I think the place is legit, but my prudent side say's let's ask our friends....would like to ask for your opinion, before we finish the booking.
Please Help!

We won a stay at Spice Island Beach Resort on Grenada thru skyauction. In fact, we had made our reservations for a stay in May 2010 and had to cancel for health reasons. The folks at the hotel were kind enough to allow us change our reservation to this year, and we just got back from there a little over a week ago.
So my experience with skyauction has been very positive. I wouldn't hesitate to complete the transaction.

Have used skyauction.com in the past with all good results.
there are BBB.org complaints a few mostly all resolved.
luxurylink.com also good usually shop around a bit.
But price is good always pay with CC and insuremytrip.com
do no worries always can dispute service not as
represented ALWAYS get my money back that way.

And just to add to the voices of experience here, I've used LuxuryLink about half a dozen times to good effect. The one time that a hotel pulled out, they reimbursed my funds right away. Through Luxury Link I've stayed at some places I wouldn't otherwise have been able to, due to high cost--including LaLuna and Guana Island in the BVI.

Had a great experience with skyauction and got The Crane in Barbados for about 1/3 the rack rate. After I made my reservation through skyauction, I checked with the property to make sure they had my reservation -- they even honored a request for a specific room location.
