Side Trips - CUBA?

My entire family (14 people) is heading down to T&C for a week in August, for my Dad's 60th. My Dad would LOVE to take a side trip to Cuba. Any advice on travel agents in T&C who could help me organize this? Any general advice? Some of us have been to T&C before, last Christmas, and loved it...

Hello,
Just returned from T&C yesterday. While on an island hideaway excursion with J&B tours, the captain mentioned that Cuba was only 90 miles away, would we like to go? It was not part of our plans, but maybe this would be an avenue for you. Hope this helps.

I've heard the US is really cracking down on US citizens taking trips to Cuba. Sure wish they would lift that darn restriction!!

there are day trips to Cuba. You'll see the ads in the tourist magazines.

Must also ad that it is illegal for US citizens to go to Cuba---- from anywhere.

We went on the Sky King day trip to Cuba last month. It was about $330.00 for the trip, tour and lunch. It is true that is illegal for US citizens to go. Your passport is not stamped. If you have trouble while you are there the US govt. will not help you out.
We went with one other couple. There were 8 of us on the plane from Turks but just the 4 of us were on the tour. We enjoyed it very much. Our guide was very good and spoke very frankly about conditions in Cuba. It is like going back in time. All the cars are vintage 50's. The houses have had no maintenace either. We were able to walk around the city. We also saw historical buildings, monuments, and a fortress set right on the coast. You can book the tour at the Sky King office in Provo.

critch- thanks for your reply. Can you book the tour through the Sky King office online or over the phone (arranged b/f we all get to T&C)? Do you have any contact info for them?
