Should I feel safe in Aruba?

Should I feel safe in Aruba?
How safe is it to walk around during the day and/or night? Are there things/people we should look out for? Did you feel secure when away from your hotel?

Aruba is extremely safe and the people are very friendly. Just use the same common sense you would use at home.

We got back from Aruba last month and felt extremely safe all the time. We were in Anguilla last summer and even though this is touted as a very safe island, we felt even safer in Aruba.

Aruba is a very safe island to walk around in either the night or day.

You should take normal precautions where ever you travel. Aruba is generally safe but no place is paradise and they do have their share of problems. You might want to watch out for the timeshare sellers!

My husband and I love Aruba. It is very safe day or night. The people are friendly and you shouild have no problems. My folks are over there right now...left Wed. It's a great paradise.

I concur. Aruba is the safest place I've been to.
