Plus...there is a limit to the # of interesting places you can go without a passport. Personally I hit that limit before I finished high school :)

GWV from Boston has direct flights to the D.R.....here is the rub..lol. If you go to La Romana you stop there first (about a 3 hour flight).. on the way home you pick up at another spot. Check and see they have Punta Cana as a direct stop both ways.. We discovered sadly years ago January and February is no guarantee that you will have warm weather in the Bahamas..
