Shopping for tasteful souvenirs at Beaches TurksnCaicos?

Is small time shopping available nearby? Tees, postcards, etc

The only shopping I did was at the airport. I think Beaches may have a store but it was very $$$. I heard someone say there was a small little mall somewhere close by but I didn't get there. The shopping is very scarce in T&C.

hi noelle, you will def be able to do your shopping. there is a small mall just down the street from your ai. walk through everything once before you start to buy. some shops a bit pricier for basically the same stuff as in the other shops. but they have all the t's, shot glasses, pcards etc. you will want. also if you hire a taxi there are some small arts and crafts type stands around provo they could take you too and you will see the island at the same time. have a great trip

Thanks for your responses! Is the mall worth it, or should I just rely on the Beaches stores?

I just got back from T&C last night. I thought the prices at the airport were very high. Most of the stores have the same stuff which most of it does not come from T&C. I found the best shopping at the huts on the beach. They'll bargain with you. I highly recommend Marilyn who is by the Sands hotel on the beach. Some of the resorts have reasonable stores (Beaches & Sands). I even asked for a lower price at Royal Jewelers and got it because things are so slow. Good luck.
