Shoal Bay Beach Hotel/ Allamanda
 
Hi,
It looks like very little is open in Anguilla during February break so my options are limited but we could get rooms in either Shoal Bay Beach Hotel or Allamanda Beach Club. I've seen mixed reviews of Shoal Bay Beach Hotel. What do you all think? Thanks!

I have not stayed at either but came very close to booking Allamanda last year. I got my info from the Anguilla travel board on AOL. There is a couple there who posts who have stayed at Allamanda for years and years - they obviously recommend it. There are some very knowledgeable and helpful people on that board - just in case you don't get everything you need here.

Are Shoal Bay Villas (right next to SBBH) open? if so, I would stay there.

Stay anyplace BUT SBBH ! I had a nightmare experience there in 2003. I recently read some reviews on tripadvisor, and it seems that the nightmare goes on.

Look elswhere and you will enjoy your trip !

Simply stated, had a bad experience in 2002 at SBBH. Check into SB Villas(next door), at that time this was a much better choice. Carol
