A few places we enjoyed last June:

Serenity - great view and fresh fish - expensive
Straw Hat - gourmet - very expensive
Eloudia's - Shoal Bay Beach Bar - Inexpensive

I don't know if it has reopened yet but Koal Keel is wonderful. I ate at Cove Castles when Marc Alvarez was chef and it was delicious - I think he is at Straw Hat now. I also have enjoyed Frangipani and Palm Court at Cinammon Reef. I've heard Olivers, Blanchards, and LeDucs are all excellent - they were closed on my last trip to Anguilla - but I plan to try them all on my next trip!

YOu are soooooo lucky!! Try Scilly Cay, Koal Keel and Johnno's (a beach bar). Enjoy!!

We were in Anguilla a few years ago, so things may have changed, but here's a few places we loved: Mango,Hibernia,Palm Grove Bar & Grill (at Junk's hole, this is a great beach barbecue bar), Uncle Ernie's. We had a great meal at Koal Keel, and they have unbelievably delicious fresh breads and croissants every morning.

Enjoy! If you go to the beach at Rendezvous and walk all the way down to the Sonesta Resort (which should be open again in June) you can enjoy a nice lunch on the patio. Burgers, fresh fruit and yogurt, etc.

Wish we were going back (sigh).

Koal Keel is still closed since the hurricane last fall. Since you are on AOL, you should check the travel board for Anguilla for the most current information. Just click on (channels) travel, opinions, caribbean, Anguilla. Also go to Bob Green's site at http://www.news.ai/ for all the Anguilla news, accommodations, restaurants, beaches, rental cars, etc.

Kathy

Cassie,
Here's 2 moderately priced consistently good restaurants on Anguilla that we always go to: Ripples and Ferryboat Inn. Roy's is great too and I would call it moderate.
Our last trip was in 98 and the most expensive meal we had was at Oliver's - the location is great on the beach and the food wonderful but very pricey (and that was 2 years ago).
We haven't been to the Pepper Pot in awhile but it is across the street from the school and we had a great meal (roti and beer) watching the school kids leave for lunch. Very cheap. Have fun, Jamie
