Sandals Emerald Bay Great Exuma Info Needed
Hi all! I was wondering if any of you have traveled to this resort and what your opinions are of it. Would love to hear your stories and any info you can provide would be much appreciated!

I stayed there when it was Four Seasons, stunning place.
Make sure to rent a car and go see Coco Plum beach, it's amazing. And while a long drive, you have to go to Tropic of Cancer
Beach, one of the most gorgeous strands you'll ever lay eyes on. (about 90 minutes, take water, nothing close to there)
Sundays go into Georgetwon and check out Chat N Chill pig roast
Make sure to water taxi over to Stacking Island, walk the trail (airplane buried on the beach the other side) great hamburger shack there.
Rent a boat excursion, at least half a day, and explore the Cays, do not miss Moriah and Duck Cays, again amazing.
I would think Sandals can set all of this up.
The beaches will blow you away. Other than that, and bone fishing, not much to do.

Thanks for your response Blamona. It looks like a beautiful place and have heard amazing things about Great Exuma. I have never stayed at a Sandals before, but do like the idea of all-inclusive as my husband and I have that on our cruises. Any idea how this resort compares to one of the nicer resorts in Turks and Caicos? This vacation would be for relaxation and being in the water as we both love to snorkel. All your suggestions of things to do sound great!!

Snorkeling is just okay.
Sandals is the same company as Beaches All Inclusive in TCI if that gives you an idea.
When it was Four Seasons it was gorgeous, don't know if that's changed when they took over. I would assume it's the same furniture? Food was good, but it's better overall in TCI. Really good for an AI.
Sandals is on a beach, close to a marina. It's a long drive to other beaches and restaurants and town, very sleepy island. Not like TCI where everything is close at hand.
Still absolutely loved it, and the beaches are superb.
