Sandals?
My wife and I were thinking of going to either a Sandals Resort in either Jamacia or St. Lucia. We were looking for a place with golf, which both have and one that would be nice in Feburary. We really enjoy pools, beach and warter sports. Any suggestions?

Bill: The golf and the beaches are better in Jamaica. St. Lucia has only one course and, while I've never golfed there, heard is wasn't all that. It might help if we knew which Sandals in Jamaica you were considering.

We were really open to any ideas, just thought of this last night! We just need a vacation!

The only golf available through a Sandals/Beaches resort in Jamaica are the ones in Ocho Rios. Beaches Grande Sport & Royal Plantation & Sandals Dunns River & Ocho Rios. The golf course is located several miles away and each resort has shuttle there. The ride can be bumpy and a little to "close for comfort" on the road there! Not much in the way of "paved" road. Golf course is average and has great view from I believe 10th tee. Alcoholic beverages and food are not inclusive at golf course, although you can eat the mangos that are along the golf course! Sandals/Beaches are now offering discounts up to 40% off which makes for a good value.

Trust me - go to Jamaica. The food and drinks are better, as well as a more unique island.
