Sand Fleas

Any recommendation on a good sunscreen-bug repellant to stop sand fleas while on the beach?

Start taking Brewer's Yeast tablets a few weeks before you go. They are available in most gorcery store vitamin aisles. The yeast makes your skin smell unattractive to the fleas and they will not bite you. It's much better than bug repellant! (And if you have pets with flea problems, they can use Brewer's Yeast, too!)

No, no effects on your body odor except to the fleas! This natural remedy has been around for decades and is totally safe for kids, pets and adults. My mom used it back in the late 1970s when my sister and I got flea bites from the sand on our school playground.

For dosages, read the directions on the bottle. Different varieties come in different forms so to say "1 tablet once a day" is not always true. It depends on the variety that you buy.
