San Souci Resort
 

After looking at my options, we are possibly cancelling our honeymoon to Sandals Whitehouse and looking at San Souci, Jamaica. Any recent trip reports???

anyone?

Last time we were there was 2002 & 2003. My trip report is listed here or drop me an email and I'll forward it directly. But just in case you're wondering, we loved it and hope to return again this fall.

Both are getting mixed reviews this season, often depending on whether you're a Sandals/AI fan. If it's a honeymoon, there are quite a few places NOT getting mixed reviews but are reliable dependable personable and high quality/value for honeymooners. 2 Islandoutpost.com boutique resorts/estates: Goldeneye and Strawberry Hill. A private villa at Round Hill, just outside MoBay or the Oscar Hammerstein estate just above it, mountainside. Moondance villa in Negril if beach is your primary goal. Jamaica Inn -- a wonderful traditional stalwart.
A villa on the Blue Lagoon in Port Antonio if you're more adventuresome.

Add GOOD HOPE plantation and BOLT and BLOWHOLE villas on North Coast to your shortlist of special places.
