Sams Lord Castle Resort
 

Has anyone stayed at the Sams Lord Castle Resort in Barbados? I have heard good and bad about the resort.

From all of the recent reports I've read about this resort, it's really gone downhill and is quite run down. I'd be cautious about booking there. Also, it's on the Atlantic side with very rough surf, and that location is extremely far from any of the great restaurants or intersting nightlife.

Do you know anything about the Kings Beach Hotel?

The reviews I have read for this hotel have been excellent. I think it's a fairly simple resort (not real elaborate). The beach is small but nice. We've taken pictures there.
