Saint Martin
 

I will be traveling to Saint Martin at the end of the month. Any suggestions on really good restaurants or things to do, scuba dive specially. Thank!!!

There are over 200 excellent restaurants on St. Marten-Tropicana, Marios Bistro, La Alabama-all on the french side. La Riviera, Shivs Sigar, Waj Chang Doll-on the dutch side plus many others-Diving is OK on the island but a short hour ferry away is Saba which has excellent diving

Your worst meal in SXM will probably be better than any you've had in the past six months. From the BBQ, fries, and beer at Pedro's or Salad Nicoise at Kon Tiki (both on Orient Beach) to the beautiful restaurants of Grand Case and the hundreds of restaurants in between, every meal is an event. Arrive hungry.

One of the nicest in Marigot/Grand Case was La Vie en Rose. As stated above, all are good, but be prepared to pay Caribbean rates! Stayed at La Belle Creole, not sure if it is still standing post-hurricane, but was gorgeous!

One of our favorites is the Fish Pot in Grand Case.$$$, but an unforgetable dining experience.
