saint kitts one night near ferry

I will be stopping in saint kitts for 1 night before I take the ferry to Nevis the next day for a one week stay. Is there a hotel near the ferry that is nice but relatively inexpensive for just a 1 night stay? I have been looking at the Angelus and frigate bay hotel but are not sure of their locations from the ferry.

Both of those hotels would mean a 10-minute taxi ride. You might also consider Ocean Terrace Inn which is almost walking distance.

The places mentioned are to expensive for 1 night. Many overnighters use The Palms Hotel in the Circus Square. Cheap and a 5 minute walk to the ferry.

Are you sure you don't want to book a sea taxi to take you over the night you arrive in St. Kitts? There are local guys that you can have meet you at the airport and take you down to either Banana Bay or Turtle Bay and there will be a boat to meet you and take you across the channel to Qualie Beach, Nevis. It's great! If you haven't already left and you want contact info, let me know.

Try contacting Frank Morse @ [email protected]. If he can't do it, contact Janet Grell-Hull, a local travel agent on Nevis. Janet Grell-Hull [[email protected]] Either way, they can arrange to have a reliable taxi driver waiting at the airport for you, then they take you on about a 20 minute drive down to the beach. The boat meets you there. It's dark and all but these guys are quite safe. If possible, request to have Sea Moss Man meet you at the airport. He's the best taxi driver on the island. Last year we had a full moon so it was really beautiful. It's a great way to start your holiday.
