Rooms at Beaches Turks & Caicos

My husband and I are thinking of going to Beaches Turks & Caicos in Nov 2005 with our two kids (ages 3 and 1). I've read some of the positive and negative feedback on the resort in general, but can anyone give me advice on the rooms? Specifically, we are trying to decide which type of one bedroom suite to book--French Village, Presidential or Honeymoon--but it is hard to tell which one looks the best or is in the best location. Any advice would be appreciated.

Several years ago we stayed in the French Village. They were very nice, and the newest I believe. The walk however, to the beach was far. With little ones, you might want to stay closer to the beach area.

Hi Deb1781,
We stayed in the Presidential suite at Beaches T&C a couple of years ago with 2 children, and it was perfect. Large bedroom for you two, and the kids sleep in the living room. Plenty of room, and close to the beach and pool. This is the one to take.

We've stayed at Beaches twice. Once at the French Village and the other time more on the main property. We were near the dive tranining pool the edge of the beach property. Really preferred this to the French Village. It was closer to the beach and quieter.

How would you describe the condition of the rooms at the far end? Heard some unsettling reviews.
