It is actually considered to be a part of Latin America/central America. I found a lot of info about Roatan at that board when I researched it...so check there.

Yes, Roatan is in the Caribbean but rebecca is right, you might get more responses on the Latin America board where the Central American destinations are discussed more frequently.
