Riu Ocho Rios

How is the beach at this resort? Does anybody know? Is it rocky where you need to wear shoes all the time, or can you walk around and into the ocean without a problem? also, did you feel safe at this resort?

I have never been to this resort but stayed right next door at Sandals Dunn's River...The beach was nice and I never wore shoes on the beach or in the water...and I did feel safe on the Sandals resort, the people selling stuff called out to you a bit but were't much trouble once they knew you weren't interested.

You'll feel perfectly safe at any big resort in Jamaica.

Many of the beaches around Ocho Rios can be a little rocky, but I don't know the beach at the Riu specifically. But I have also stayed at Sandal's Dunn's River, and that cove has a lovely beach that's very sandy and not too rocky at all.
