I don't think this restaurant was mentioned yet, but be sure to try the Waterfront Bistro in Cruz Bay. We tried it for the first time in October and really enjoyed it. Also you can't go wrong with La Tapa! Have a great time - Susan

Choose wisely there are MANY LOUSY restaurants in St. Johns. I am writing so others will not go away feeling burned like I did. Most of the conk fritters we had out were just huge balls of deep fried bread. The famous Skinny Legs got a low B for food, on the up side it is very kid friendly and fun. Our group tried Concordia twice and it was lousy both times. Lucy's over cooked the Lobters and the waitress actually offered us farmed fish as if this was a bonus. Many of the establishments still allow smoking. Twice we had late night bar snacks served to us by employees who were actually smoking, granted it was a bar. Most of the fruit drinks will be poured from a carton, real fruit seems hard to come by on this island. Most of the shop keepers, villa owners and other islanders will not say a negative about any establishment. This makes for better neighbors in a small island community. However, its tough to get an honest review due to this. Places that we enjoyed were Rhumb lines - cheaper than we expected too. The Ship wreck landing was consitently good. A crazy little shack called the Tourist Trap had great lobster rolls and damn good drinks. Good Luck
