Restaurants/Nightlife Barbados
Hello Lois,
I noticed from some of the posts that you are an expert on BARBADOS!! You have been there so many times. I was hoping you could give me some suggestions on restaurants (Italian, Seafood, casual) and nightlife. I am leaving Saturday for a 20th anniversary trip
Thanks a lot!!!

The Cliff on the west coast is a must for a special occasion. Pisces in St lawrence Gap has great food in a beautiful setting. Haven't been but Josefs in St L was raved about when we were in Barbados in April. If its seafood though and you want atmosphere a visit to Oistins on Friday night is essential. You will not get better seafood ANYWHERE!!!! Thats where the locals go to enjoy their weekend.

Hi Stephanie,
Hope you enjoyed -- I was on a trip myself and did not read your post until 5/20. Hopefully you tried The Cliff, Carambola, La Terra and The Tides. Let me know.

Hello!
I just returned from a wonderful vacation. I would not recommend Almond Beach Club - very disappointed! We ate out every night which wasn't a bad thing!!
Went to the Cliff for our 20th wedding anniversary dinner, though quite expensive, worth every cent. The Tides was closed so we went to Olives, Bellinis and Cocomos. Can't wait to go back.

Steph-
Since you've just returned, how was the weather in Barbados? Is the construction still bad? Going in 2 weeks.
|
It was very HOT!!! Not a bit of rain in 7 days. Constructions was at a minimum.
|
How hot?
How was the nightlife. Did you get to see the Bougainvillea Beach Resort? Did you rent a car?
|
Susan,
It was low 90's and very humid.
We rented a car for 2 days but took the bus a lot because it was so convenient and they run til midnite.
Nightlife is great - St. Lawrence Gap has lots of great entertainment, also Harbour Lights
