Restaurants near Our Lucaya Resort

My husband and I will be going to the Sheraton at Our Lucaya in Oct. We would appreciate recommendations of restaurants that we can walk to. Thanks, Carol

We so enjoyed Iries next to the Westin that we ate there twice. It serves Caribbean food if you like that type of food.
Have fun. The beach is really lovely. The infinity-edge pools on the Westin side are lovely as well.

Walk across the street to the Port Lucaya Marketplace. There are many restaurants there, ranging from upscale to fast food. Our favorites include the Pub at Port Lucaya for lunch, Luciano's, Pisces, and Giovannis for dinner. Others we like include Shenanigan's and Zorba's (Greek food but many American favorites). These places are far less expensive than the restaurants on the Our Lucaya property. If you want to consider Luciano's or Pisces for dinner (they are open only for dinner) call ahead for reservations. Hope this helps.

We were just at Our Lucaya staying at the Westin June 8-12. Great property! The Marketplace is just across the street as others mentioned with a variety of dining options. We had great dinners at La Dolce Vita and The Corner Bistro. Both are open only at dinner, at least when we were there. La Dolce Vita is Italian, but The Corner Bistro has an eclectic menu of different items, some with an asian influence. Our dinners were great, and as we chose to inside (both restaurants have alfresco dining) the chefs prepared our meals from the open kitchen. As the others stated, there are also the restaurants on the grounds at Our Lucaya. We chose one night to eat at the Prop Club (very, very casual) just so we could eat in the small open air section an stare directly at the ocean. Same with a late lunch at the China Grill where the ocean and property served as a backdrop. BTW, head over to the Westin side of the properties, especially the very far end of near the lighthouse for a relaxing float/swim in the infinity pools.

We just got back from the Westin and tried a bunch of different restaurants. The hotel restaurants were very expensive, with most entrees around $30-$35. They have copies of the menus at guest services in the lobby. We only ate dinner at one hotel restaurant -- Willy Broadleaf's. The Friday night seafood buffet there cost us $35 each. The food was ok but a lot of it looked like it had been sitting out a while and there were a lot of empty serving dishes. I'd skip it. We had one non-snack bar lunch at the Prop Club, where 2 burgers and a couple of sodas cost us $50. We ventured out of the hotel for the rest of our dinners. Giovanni's Cafe across the street in the marketplace was good but the portions were small. Definitely not as expensive as the hotel, though. We traveled out to the Pier One restaurant to see the sharks being fed. The food was only fair but the sharks made it worth the drive. We tried The Rib Room at the Crowne Plaza, which was expensive but good. Two places not to miss are Luciano's in the marketplace and The Ferry House next door to the hotel. They were expensive but the food was fantastic. Lastly, we tried The Stoned Crab. The food was good and we were literally sitting on the beach. It was expensive, though, and you'd have to take a cab there. I hope this helps!
