Restaurants near L'Hoste

Hello,

Is anyone familiar with restaurants within walking distance to the L'Hoste hotel on Orient?

Thanks.

I'm headed there in two weeks and will be glad to report. Trip Advisors is also a good resource.

I would love to hear about your trip and stay at L'Hoste. We're doing 3 nights at L'Hoste and then heading over to Anguilla... and to be honest, I'm feeling like we might like Anguilla more so I need people to tell us we will enjoy St. Martin! :)

I'll be happy to report back. I have been to Anguilla and you will love it. Make sure that you go to Shoal Bay and visit Uncle Ernies and say hi to Lily. If possible try to go to Shoal Bay on a Sunday, when all the establishments have bands. Lots of beautiful beaches. In the meantime, if you "google" Orient Beach,St. Martin, there are several informative websites with maps that show the location of many restaurants.

you will like L'hoste. The staff is very friendly and the continental breakfast pool-side is delightful (croissants, fresh fruit and other French pastries. We ate one dinner at Bikini Beach bar (right in front of hotel on the beach) and it was quite good. Additionaly, you can walk through the gate of the hotel and you will enter a delightful square (very similar to Europe) and find 5-6 good dining options. The beach is quite beautiful and long and can also be crowded. Be prepared for a lot of topless people and even some full nudity from the clothing optional resort at the end of the beach. I was very impressed with ST. Martin and its beautiful beaches. We were on a sailboat after our two days there and went to Anguilla (we had been before). You can go to Anguilla from St. Marti for a day trip on the ferry. I recommend Shoal Bay East for a day trip beach day. Gorgeous beach and several good dining options. We went to Ripples restaurant in Sandy ground for dinner and it was as good as it was seven years ago. Enjoy your trip!
