jpa, what is that supposed to mean? I have never posted this comment before. I am aware that other people have mentioned the deals they have gotten on priceline.com, but I thought this would be helpful to other people thinking about trying this. I don't appreciate your rude remark.<BR>Karen, thanks for the info. My husband and I have been watching luxury link for a few months also. We have seen the auctions and best buys come up for Caneel Bay, Little Dix Bay, etc., but we thought the prices were still too high. For example, right now there is a best buy deal for Caneel Bay but it is $2250 for six nights rather than seven without any food. We figured we could make out a lot cheaper with the Westin by using priceline.com.

Becca go and enjoy the Westin you got a GREAT rate. Karen just likes to spout off the names of high end resorts and put down others. She wants no A/C, etc and constantly harps on anyone who has an opinion of their own.

As I said in the other thread, you got a great deal! Go enjoy and the Westin is a beautiful property! Heck! that's cheaper than the local Holiday Inn and makes the "bargain" I got at the Westin awhile ago look pretty shabby - and I thought I done good!! In fact, It's cheaper than I paid at Maho and they don't even have hot water! :-) <BR>'tis a wonderful spot!

Thanks Norma. Karen, my problem wasn't with you - luxury link is a great website, and there are some great deals to be found there! My problem was that I didn't understand why jpa made such a rude comment.
