Resorts In Barbados

I am planning a trip to Barbados in August. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a nice resort there. My travel agent had suggested the Fairmont Glitter Bay, so if anyone has any feed back on that resort I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Yolanda

just got back from its sister hotel Royal Pavilion. My advice, DO IT!!!!!!!!! Fabulous service, amazing beach, complimentary watersports, fine dining, close proximity to a handful of really fine restaurants and monkeys that run through the property in the evening.

Hi Michelle, we were looking at staying at the Royal Pavilion in November. Could you tell me more about your experience there. Was there much road constrution going on around this area.

I've heard great things about Sandy Lane. Check out http://www.sandylane.com/tour/index.html for more information. It looks fabulous!

You'll love Barbados. The resort you pick may depend upon your age, things you want to do.

Royal Pavillion is gorgeous. Sandy Lane is the Best on the island and has rates to match. They have all inclusives, but I prefer not doing that so I can enjoy the wonderful island restaurants.

On the South Coast (where you get more waves), Bougainvillea Beach is nice. Also Coral Sands Resort is nice.

You can find a complete listing with links to all the properties on the Tourism Board website which is:

http://www.barbados.org

I'd be happy to answer any questions.
