Renting a condo in the El Conquestador, Puerto Rico
We are looking to go to Puerto Rico with our grown children in January. Has anyone rented a condo for 5-6 days on the grounds of the El Conquestador? If so, how did you find it?

We stayed at the Ocean Front villa and loved it. The view was stunning. However, we felt that rooms definitely needed some updates. Access to beach is a long journey requiring a long walk and boat ride. However, once you get there, it feels like a paradise.

I have found that there is a condo building right next to the resort Marina Lanais...actually very close to the water. Some VRBO are listed. When speaking with the hotel reservationist I was looking at a map and kept asking about that building. He played dumb like he could not see it but if you find the hotel map it is right there and a fraction of the price. Most of the days I want are booked at these places but you might check it out.

There is a long thread on this very subject on TripAdvisor.
The reason the guy at the hotel would not address the question is because the condos are NOT part of the resort.
See if this link takes you there. IF not, just go to TA and find it, it's quite recent.
