Rental car request
 

I'm looking to rent a car in Barbados for a week at the end of June. Can anyone recommend a reasonable-cost, reliable rental agency? It seems that none of the majors rent in Barbados (not sure exactly why) and the companies I've found seem a bit pricey for the vehicles offered. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a list of the car rental companies in Barbados: http://www.fodors.com/world/caribbea...p_2177914.html. I cannot make a personal recommendation, however, but I'm sure someone here can. Car rentals on Barbados can be kind of expensive, so just be prepared. Gas is also quite expensive.

There are actually many islands in the Caribbean where the only car-rental companies are local.

we've only ever used stouts and always had a great experience. they werent the cheapest, but that's not always the way to go.

Car rentals are expensive on Barbados. A good rental company is Regency Car Rentals. Excellent vehicles, excellent service, reasonable prices.

Have used Stoutes Car Rentals on several occasions - cars well maintained and clean, and they rent from the airport as well as delivery to your hotel. Car rentals are not cheap on Barbados and going with a cheap but less reputable agency could end up costing you in the long run.
