Rendezvous
 

PLease Help....<BR>We're due to go here in a few weeks.....<BR>Has anybody been recently?<BR>any feedback would be appreciated.<BR><BR>Many Thanks

We just got back one week ago. We chose Rendezvous (R.) for its quaint size and adult couples only feature. We were not disappointed. Most of the people we met were from England. <BR><BR>The resort is aging slightly but the management is on top of things. Our air conditioning was barely enough and it was difficult at times to regulate the water. We will spend the extra money next time for the ocean view rooms. They are only 6 years old. They are a little bigger. <BR><BR>I had read that the staff was so very nice and I agree. From the moment we got out of the taxi till the moment we left, we were pampered and made to feel comfortable. If you choose to be off by yourselves or if you are a joiner of games, they will accomodate you. The food was very good!! There is an airport nearby. It did not bother us in the least. One jet took off during the duration of our stay. The noise of the waves is louder than the planes. <BR><BR>Castries is very nearby. R. offers a bike trip to go shopping. The locals were on the beach (it was Easter weekend) and never bothered us. They may offer services or merchandise but when you say "no thanks" they drop it. If you want to know more, I could go on and on.

We were there last year for two weeks. We loved it. Food was good, Staff was good. Not one complaint. See if you can geta seaside suite. They are less expensive than the oceanfront and very nice rooms. The standard romms are standard hotel rooms. You will love this resort. Feel free to email me with any other questions.

We were there back in 1990 on our honeymoon when it was Couples, it was aging quite a bit then, we had fun, but didn't like the beach area, wasn't very big, and they advised us not to wonder off the grounds past the security on each end of the beach in front of the resort!!!! Has this changed?? Would love to go back and check out more of St. Lucia, maybe on anniversay next year!!

WE WERE THERE,LOVED EVERY MINUTE, TELL ALVIN AND HENDERSON -BOB WITH THE BEADS SAID HELLO, LOOK FOR PRESCA AT THE RECEPTION DESK,TELL BOBTHE FISH SAID SHES STILL BEAUTIFUL, GREAT POOL BAR,LOTS OF FUN IN AFTERNOON.
