Renaissance Cruise Line
 

Has anyone cruised with this line? What was your overall opinion? Could you compare it to Royal Caribbean or another well known cruise line?

Ive never cruised on Renaissance but when i lived on St Croix they used to dock once a week at Gallows Bay. They have smaller ships and are supposed to be more upscale than Royal Cairbbean, Carnival etc. Another sugestion, post a message at the cruise forum at this site. I read trip reports on a cruise site but they were kind of old reports. From what I read it isn't as nice as say RCCL.

I checked out the cruise board and they had a big discussion on Ren. Thanks.

We went to Greek Isles with Ren last Sept. Good crowd and few "ugly american" types. We did have fun trying to guess if a particular couple was "trophy wife" or "daughter" Would go again in a heartbeat. Great value, great food.
