Recommendations for snorkel tour in Aruba
 

We're heading to Aruba for the first time in a couple of weeks and are looking for recommendations for a snorkel tour. We'd like to do a 1/2 day tour preferably in the morning. We snorkeled with Red Sail in Grand Cayman last year and had a great time so they're an option, but it looks like there are a lot of other choices in Aruba. We're staying at the Hyatt and wll have a rental car. Any advice or recommendations? Thanks.

We used MiDushi and enjoyed it. The Tranquillo gets good reviews and we would choose them for next trip.

Snorkeling in Aruba is not very good. Of the ABC islands Curacao and Bionaire have good to very good snorkeling. So, I would search the Caribbean thread for "snorkel tours in Aruba" and select one mentioned 2-3 times by fellow travelers.

"Snorkeling in Aruba is not very good." I have to disagree with that statement. We found the snorkeling to be good compared to some other destinations we've been to with regards to seeing lots of fish. The water is more cloudy, so the visibility is not as good though. Yes, there are better destinations for snorkeling, but we really enjoyed the snorkeling in Aruba.

I agree, after snorkelling "The Virgins", Grand Cayman, etc., the snorkelling in Aruba is so-so.

If you have a car, drive up to Arashi(not that far from your hotel) and snorkel from shore. You'll see the boats out there that you would be on for a tour.

The wreck is deep water, very wavy, and not that great either IMO.

We,ve been to Aruba several times and do like it, but for other reasons than snorkelling. After snorkelling Grand Cayman, you'll be back in the boat pretty quick!
