Recommendations for hotel in San Juan?
 

We're considering taking a cruise from San Juan and will need a hotel for a night before the cruise. Ideally something near the airport or seaport. Any recommendations for a reasonably priced place? Thanks.

What is your budget and your needs? The Ritz and The Wyndham el san juan are very close to the airport-- 5 minutes. El convento is in old san juan, which I believe is near the seaport.

we love hotel milano, right in the heart of old san juan, near the cruise ship docks. it would give you a chance to explore the old city of foot before you leave. price is decent. free breakfast on the roof.

We loved our one night stay at El Convento in Old San Juan, within walking distance of the cruise ship pier. (Though you might not want to walk if you are heavy-laden with luggage.) It is historic, atmospheric, and utterly charming. Rates include a wine & cheese reception every evening. Views from the rooftop are lovely. They offer a pre or post cruise special on their website that you may want to look into.

Another vote for the El Convento--one of our favorite hotels anywhere!
