What island to visit for beautiful calm beach & fun local atmosphere?
I have visited MUCH of the Caribbean but want to try a new spot. We LOVE turks & caicos and aruba, but looking for a new spot to check out. We enjoy laying on the beach as well as walking into town and getting a feel for the culture. I've been on the western, southern & eastern Caribbean cruises so ive seen many spots but only for a few hours. Thoughts? Suggestions? We are married and in our early 30s and will be traveling with no kids. Was going to wait on Jamaica or Bahamas to do that with my step daughter next year.

Consider Grand Cayman, St. Barth’s, Anguilla or Barbados.

Waiting for The Bahamas?

There are over 800 islands, why wait.

Waiting for Jamaica? -haha. And I was going to suggest Negril fit the bill until I saw that disclaimer.

I think Jamaica and the Bahamas are better when traveling with children. We are going to take my step daughter there next year.
